C'est la vie

Nepal seemed so far away yet its creeping closer and closer. The minutes are dropping off and d day is in view !

Are you nervous ? I would be lying if I said I wasnt. 4 months in an unknown land far far away … leaving behind the ones I love. But most of all I’m excited !! My very first adventure and I cannot wait to explore. The excitement of meeting new people, learning new things, tasting new food and experiencing a culture that never been part of before…how could I not to excited !

It’s a pity that things arnt running as smoothly as I’d hoped with complications peeping up along the way …choices to be made. Tough ones that could make or break me. I’m looking forward to jetting off to clear my head too if I’m telling the truth. The forgotten past tears his ugly face every so often and here we go again… more persistently then usual.

Looking forward to my last supper Friday and going away drinks with all the lads.

Random thought: I’ve found myself as Juliet … I can’t be with my Romeo and its a tragity waiting to happen…. anonymous.

Since my last post I have graduated… I now have my piece of paper that we deserving got .. after all it was a tough life shipping early classes to stay in bed, gossiping in the canteen drinking tea and eating wraps (chicken cheese and taco sauce) and then going home before the last classes to get out of traffic. Im now a Social Care Worker… 3 years later ! Grand auld day so twas. Great seeing gra but missed hickey loads … wasn’t the same without her :(

Back to the title…. temptation. So much of it everywhere - some of it avoidable. More of it not so much. Pleasurable yet torturing. Painful yet needing more. Why do we lead ourselves into temptation yet wanting to step backwards. Knowing its wrong yet yearing for more.

My horoscope for Sunday, Jan 16, 2011 ( the day im flying to nepal)  This is a good time to travel, especially to places you’ve never experienced before, where you will be exposed to new ideas and different ways of looking at the world. Got my tatoo this day last year off the beach in Lanzarotte, doing shots and cocktails. Dancing on the bar of The Big Apple and trying my hand at pole dancing.

Im starting to think its Karma - no joke !!

Getting my stiches out tomorrow hopefully as the pain is starting to get to me, in all fairness I went out Stephens with 2 bruised arms and stiches that looked like a huge spider was invading my arm so I think i deserve to get them extracted for tomorrows nights session !! :)

It has just started to hit me that im actually going to Asia. 2 and a half weeks is all … so much to do …Ahhhhhh :) Cant wait though … not only am I looking forward to the new experience but im looking forward to the break from here. Starting to fall back into old habbits is not what im planning to do …

Graduation is just one week away …woo hoo !! Finally get to see all my girlies and Roy again :P
